Captain Of Industry
The Captain of Industry is a modern rendition of a game that would be found at the Pan American Exposition in 1901 located in the orientation room at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site in Buffalo, NY. The Captain of Industry ranks players on their business aptitude ranging from “Common Laborer” to “Captain of Industry”. Users are presented with four questions that they answer by turning a brass knob to their selection and pulling a spring-action handle. Users are rewarded with a rich selection of sound effects and light effects throughout the experience.
This interactive is located in an “orientation room” where visitors watch a presentation about the Pan American Exposition. During this presentation sound effects are disabled in the interactive via commands from the AMX control system.
