Bruce and I have been extremely busy the last few months finishing up work on the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford, CT and the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site in Buffalo, NY.

The Connecticut Science Center is a brand new ambitious building in Downtown Hartford that has been in development for several years.  The structure consists of floors dedicated to office space, exhibitry, and even a rooftop garden.  Boston Productions handled development of exhibits for the fifth and sixth floors.

The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site is the location in which Theodore Roosevelt was inaugurated as president in an emergency ceremony right after the assassination of President William McKinley.  There are five interactive Exhibits located in a newly renovated home where the original library of the Presidential Inauguration has been preserved.  The historic site provides a guided tour inside the mind of Theodore Roosevelt through the events leading up to and right after William McKinley’s assassination.  Visitors are first presented with the Orientation room in the spirit of the Pan Am Exposition of 1901.  This room contains the Captain of Industry and Kinetoscope.  After brief stops in the “Issues Room” and an audio rendition of the Presidential Inauguration; visitors are treated to real telegraph messages that Theodore Roosevelt received after his inauguration via the Motion Sensing Telegraph.  The tour then heads upstairs where visitors are allowed to freely roam about and utilize one of the three exhibits including the President’s Desk.
